Good Earth Tools developed the Flight Drive Auger Head and Bit system because we saw a need to extend product life of these high wear parts, thereby creating value for our customers. Our simple-to-rebuild design and use of tungsten carbide in high wear areas gives our line of products up to four times the lifespan of similar products.

Good Earth Tools developed a complete hollow-core drilling system. This system comes in various diameters and attachment methods, and includes auger heads, solid tungsten carbide protected auger bits, lightweight center plugs, and center bits.

 

The system was developed to address a myriad of problems drillers were having with existing OEM drilling systems. Good Earth Tools engineered an auger system which utilizes solid tungsten carbide to extend the life of the bits, and is very easy to maintain, requiring only one bolt to remove and replace bits when worn. If maintained correctly, the drilling crew should never need to “build-up” the auger with weld due to wear.
