Wear Resistant Plates

Since 1964, the custom manufacturers of wear-resistant parts at Good Earth Tools (G.E.T.) have been specialists in the innovative and tested results in uses for tungsten carbide to prevent high impact, corrosion, and wear resistance. The solution began by engineering, collaboration, fabricating, and testing tungsten carbide armor plating with plant safety and maintenance personnel. Collectively, the solution resulted in installation of the wear plates that extended previous plate lives by an outstanding ten times. And in some instances the results were increased to 17 times original wear part performance! This enabled the plant to increase safety and also reduced their inventory of spare parts by a remarkable 80 percent. All the while the collaborative solution minimized spillage which, in turn, minimized the effect on the environment and increased the plant’s revenues by hundreds of thousands of dollars.
